The first person that you talk to will often be Debbie, our appointment coordinator. Debbie makes your appointments, applies your payments and answers your questions. Debbie worked in banking before she joined our practice. She’s been with Chelsea Orthodontics since 2006.

Kelly is our treatment coordinator. At your first appointment, Kelly will assist Dr. Barkley in her evaluation of your orthodontic needs. After Dr. Barkley has discussed her recommendations for orthodontic treatment, Kelly will answer your questions about appointment scheduling and financing. Kelly has been with Chelsea Orthodontics since 1989!

Tammy is a registered dental hygienist, and has been practicing since 1989. She is a specialist in teaching orthodontic patients how to keep their teeth and gums healthy during treatment. Tammy joined Chelsea Orthodontics in 2004.

Jane is our sterilization assistant. Among her responsibilities is making sure that every instrument is appropriately sterilized and stored before use. Jane also prepares the orthodontic appliances going out to the laboratory and returning to the office. Jane has worked in dentistry for over 20 years, and joined Chelsea Orthodontics in 2004.

Theresa is an orthodontic assistant, and she also frequently works at the appointment desk. Her special skill is preparing the digital photos of patients'  teeth that are a vital part of the orthodontic record.

Lindy is an orthodontic assistant. You’ll see her assisting Dr. Barkley with patient care, or updating parents on their child’s treatment. She worked in several orthodontic practices in Jackson before joining Chelsea Orthodontics in 2007.

Lori has been an orthodontic assistant since 1990. She received a degree in Dental Technology from Ferris State University. She joined Chelsea Orthodontics in 2010.
